Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Barrington Heights Association of Homeowners?

The Barrington Heights Association of Homeowners is a non-profit corporation composed of homeowners in the Barrington Heights community. You automatically become a member when you purchase a Barrington Heights home.

Read more about associations on the Northwest Community Management FAQ.

How do I pay my assessments?

Northwest Community Management Company is our managing partner and invoices our assessments, which includes a return envelope for payment. Their mailing address is:

Northwest Community Management
P.O. Box 23099
Tigard, OR 97281

Alternatively, you can setup automatic electronic payment of your assessments by completing an ACH Form and submitting it to the above address. Read more about ACH on the Northwest Community Management FAQ.

If you have any questions about your invoice or payment, you can contact their offices at 503-670-8111.

When are meetings held?

Board meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 7 PM at the the West Linn Adult Community Center. All homeowners are encouraged to attend to participate in community business and present issues and concerns for consideration. A reminder about the upcoming meeting is posted on the main page of the website, agendas for the most recent meeting and the next meeting are posted on the Archives page, and all meeting minutes are also posted on the Archives page.

Annual meetings are held every January. Elections of new board members are held at this time, and the annual budget is approved by the members. A meeting notification, agenda, and proxy are sent out a month before to remind homeowners about the meeting and to encourage participation. Minutes for annual meetings can be found on the Archives page.

What is an ARC?

Northwest Community Management has provided a very informative tutorial on ARCs and how they apply to you on the FAQ page of their website.

How can I contact the members of Barrington Heights?

The Barrington Heights Association of Homeowners puts together a directory of members every year that has contact information for everyone in the Association who wishes to be listed. For privacy reasons, we do not post this directory on the website. However, you can contact our our community manager by email or phone (503-670-8111 x256) to request a copy of the directory.

How do I get involved in the association?

We welcome participation from all homeowners in Barrington Heights and invite everyone to volunteer for Board positions or to serve on any of the Association's committees. Board members are elected at annual meetings and any homeowner is eligible to run for a Board position (see your Documents for more details). A list of our current committees can be found here. If you would like to volunteer to be on a committee, please contact us for more information.
